2011 is going to go down as a banner year for Hip Hop music, especially for those that listen to what is called "UnderGround Hip Hop". When I started this podcast I played the Old School/ 90's in Hour 1 then for Hour 2 I wanted to play Hip Hop that came out post 2000. I never wanted to make Hour 2 the "new ish only" hour but after checking out the past few episodes, especially since the start of this year, I'm noticing that the Hour 2's have more and more new bangers in the mix. I feel that is happening because Hip Hop is not dead, it went UnderGround and its as pure as ever. With that being said I wanted to end 2011 with a mix that has nothing but joints from the year that made me fall in love with Hip Hop all over again, 2011.
So who better to start Episode 39 Hour 2 then the comeback player of the year, Akrobatik and his new anthem #OccupyHipHop.
Thanks everyone for making this year a special one for the podcast. We have just over 47,000 subscribers and quickly approaching 50,000!....."and my word is bond"!!!
