There's no question in my mind that when the dust settles on 2010 it will go down as a banner year for Hip Hop music, especially for Underground/ Indie Hip Hop. Now I hate to be the dude that separates "mainstream" & "underground" but really, I've been doing that since Episode 1!! If I didn't I would have called this podcast "Radio Radio". Haha, I joke, I joke. Seriously though, from a Hip Hop head that grew up with the early 80's to mid 90's to the now sound of hip hop, I can't remember the last time (in a single year) that I've been so blown away and excited with all the talent that's coming out. Oh wait, I do, it was 1994!!! {gasp, mumble mumble} Before you start throwing rocks at your boy listen to Episode 28 Hour 2 and let me know how you feel when its over. I said it last month and I'll say it again, there's a 'Hop Hop Renaissance' going down!! Buy music, support local artist, go to shows, buy a t shirt...just be apart of it!!..but if you're reading this, something tells me you already are.
